Made in the Barbie Manor Art Studio, "Junk Journal Ft. Junk Jewel" is a physical media scrapbook made between March 2025 and July 2026 full of "junk," otherwise known as receipts, wrappers, cards, brochures, and more in an interactive storytelling assembly. This scrapbook, photo album, and visual journal has thirteen themes, integrated eye-spy games, and a character named Junk Jewel who adds context to the mixed media. The work tells a story of the last year and a half of Carson’s life, framed by other collected media from 2010 onwards.

This completely collapsable 3D Collage Miniatures scene features a sunset desert environment, with billboard advertisements supported by large rocks serving as boulders that guide a drive through the scenic route. Vegetation Along Green Timbers Trails is an informational nature pamphlet that focuses on the specific vegetation found within the Biogeoclimatic Site Series at Green Timbers Urban Forest Park in Surrey BC. The pamphlet provides multiple perspectives of the space including scientific and indigenous classifications, aerial locations on maps, panoramas of trails, portraits of plants, and microscopic images of what the plants produce. The center column provides context for the rest of the pamphlet through situating the surrounding images on the trail map, and provides information that guides the rest of the reading. The left column zeros into the Huckleberry and Salal nature trails that are each accompanied by 1 portrait, an edited panorama made of 5 photos taken on my Sony A7iii, and 2 microscopic images that were obtained using the Surrey Nature Center Microscope. This column also provides information about the park's Biogeoclimatic Site Series that provides further context for the needs of the species featured on the trails. The right column showcases the Cedar, Hemlock, Birch, and Douglas-fir trails through bugs-eye portraits and 1-2 microscopic images of the corresponding cones, needles, and leaves. This column also touches on the Indigenous Medicine Wheel with a land acknowledgment, and expands upon the medicinal plants in relation to British Columbia and Green Timbers. The information included on the pamphlet was obtained from the Green Timbers Urban Forest Recreation and Access Management Plan, and Green Timbers Heritage Society.
