These original prints were created at Emily Carr University of Art + Design's Printmaking Studio, located in Vancouver, BC, using blue and yellow (mixed green) inks on Pearl Grey Stonehenge Paper. Created with stencils and everyday objects like tinfoil, gift cards, yarn, and even mineral spirits for colour application and manipulation, Carson attempted to capture the general shapes and colours of nature.

This screen print, made in an edition of 4, was printed through two layers at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Printmaking Studio in Surrey, BC, using black, red, and yellow (mixed orange) inks on White Stonehenge Paper. Based on the architecture of the main Vancouver Public Library building, this piece was an attempt to merge text and image, from the subject of the piece that houses text and images, to the concept of using text to create said image.

"Transgender Visibility" has 3 variations, the first being an edition of 5, the second an edition of 2, and the third also an edition of 2, that were all printed at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design Printmaking Studio in Vancouver, BC, using red, blue, and transparent (mixed pink) inks. Variation 3 was displayed at ECU from Aug. 19 to Sept. 7, 2023. Variation 1 was printed on White Stonehenge Paper, and Variations 2 and 3 on Pearl Grey Stonehenge Paper. Playing with the inherently low visibility of bitmap images, Carson depicts himself early in his transition to comment on the widespread erasure and censorship of transgender experiences.
